Juan Haro founded his rice company together with his children in 1990 on 125 acres of ideal rice land. The farm where the rice is grown is called “EL PUERTO” and borders the Segura River. This high valley, with cold and crystalline waters, make Calasparra Rice a unique product in both quality and prestige.
