This lidded ceramic container is perfect for serving salt, butter, ketchup or mustard. It also makes a great ring box. Hand shaped and hand painted in Toledo, Spain. As with all of our ceramics, this item is lead free and food safe.
Description
This hand painted box measures approximately 2″ in diameter by 2.5″ high. It has been handmade by the de la Cal family of artists in Toledo, Spain. The lid is not airtight.

I love this little container. I use it as a salt cellar by my cook top, but as suggested, it would make an excellent condiment jar as well. It is a tad smaller than I would have liked, but the closest thing to what I was looking for. The stem on the lid is a bit tall. I hope that doesn’t make it more prone to breaking off.
