Like all our ceramics, it’s lead-free, food safe, and crafted with care for everyday use. While dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing. Wow, that arrived quickly! The pieces are even more beautiful than the pictures promised. My only complaint: that’s a LOT of packing styrofoam. Perhaps those inflatable bubble sheets would be better? I understand the concern about protecting the items from damage.
But otherwise, i’m very happy with what i received and i plan to enjoy using them in my kitchen.

Hello Ruth, Thank you for letting us know that your ceramics are even more beautiful in person. You do not need to worry about the packing supplies we use. We use a lot of packaging so that your order arrives in perfect condition. We only use biodegradable peanuts that are made from natural-nontoxic sources such as wheat and corn starch. They dissolve in water and can be discarded in a compost pile to deteriorate naturally. We are very conscientious about recycling and in doing our part to preserve the planet.
